Leibovitz joined Rolling Stone in 1970, while still a student at the San Francisco Art Institute, and became their chief photographer by 1973.

Her 1991 Vanity Fair cover of a nude, pregnant Demi Moore was groundbreaking and sparked debates about nudity and pregnancy in media.

Leibovitz studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute, but never under Warhol. She later photographed Warhol for Rolling Stone.

That's a persistent myth. She photographed the Queen in formal robes at Buckingham Palace in 2007; no leather jacket was involved.

She shot the iconic Rolling Stone cover of a naked Lennon curled around Yoko Ono on December 8, 1980, hours before he was killed.
