Queen Nzinga Trivia Questions

After her brother's death, Queen Nzinga became ruler of Ndongo and later conquered Matamba, governing both until her death in 1663. This is a well-established historical fact.

Queen Nzinga allied with the Dutch West India Company in 1641, and together they captured Luanda but later lost it when the Portuguese reinforced. This alliance is historically documented.

In a famous 1622 meeting, the Portuguese governor refused to provide a chair for Queen Nzinga, so she ordered a male servant to get on all fours and sat on him to assert her status.
