The Dayton Agreement, formally signed in Paris on December 14, 1995, ended the Bosnian War and established the political structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

NATO conducted its first combat air strike in April 1994 during the Bosnian War, bombing Bosnian Serb positions near Goražde.

The Bosnian War ended with the Dayton Peace Accords in December 1995, not the Paris Peace Accords. The latter ended the Vietnam War in 1973.
