The Masters Golf Tournament Trivia Questions

The green jacket remains the property of Augusta National. Winners may take it home for a year but must return it to the club.

The Champions Dinner, hosted by the previous year's winner, began in 1952 with Ben Hogan. It is held on Tuesday of Masters week.

Each hole at Augusta National is named after a plant or tree. Hole 16 is called Redbud, after the flowering tree species.

Augusta National strictly prohibits outside food and beverages, including alcohol. Spectators must purchase concessions inside the grounds.

The green jacket tradition for winners began in 1949 when Sam Snead received one. Before that, only club members wore green jackets.

From its first edition in 1934 until 1939, the event was called the Augusta National Invitation Tournament. The name 'Masters' was adopted in 1939.
